Wunderschönes Urlaubsdomizil in ruhiger Lage

Dieses Ferienhaus liegt zwar abseits, aber wer die Ruhe sucht und ein Auto anmietet, ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Um auch etwas von der Insel zu sehen und Einkäufe zu tätigen, ist ein Auto allerdings dringend notwendig. Das Haus ist sehr großzügig, perfekt ausgestattet, in gutem Zustand. Die gezeigten Bilder stellen es viel kleiner da. Das Anwesen ist umwerfend. Zwei gestufte Terrassen erlauben das Liegen in der Sonne gleichwohl wie im Schatten. Im Garten fühlt man sich sehr schnell wohl. Der direkte Zugang zu einem kleinen Strand, sowie einem weiteren Liegeplatz am Meer sind ein Traum. In nur fünf Fahrminuten erreicht man Lower Bogue. Dort gibt es gut sortierte kleine "Supermärkte", die absolut ausreichend sind für den täglichen Bedarf. Wer ein größeres Sortiment haben möchte, fährt nur wenige Kilometer weiter gen Norden nach The Bluff. Dort befindet sich ein größerer Supermarkt. Auf der Fahrt dorthin kommt man außerdem an einem Liquorstore vorbei, der auch ausgezeichnete Weine führt. Sehr zu empfehlen für einen kleinen Snack ist Ingraham's Frontyard. Hier gibt es ausgezeichneten Conchsalad und Conch fritters. Die Betreuung rund um die Anmietung war sehr gut und sehr freundlich. Alle Fragen vorab wurden sofort per Email beantwortet. Vor Ort steht der Houskeeper Rede und Antwort und vergewissert sich, ob alles in Ordnung ist, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und empfehlen dieses Haus auf jeden Fall weiter.

Wonderful holiday domicile in quiet situation

Though this cottage lies apart, but who searches the rest and rents a car, is lifted here very well. To see also somewhat of the island and to effect purchases, however, a car is absolutely necessary. The house is very generous, equipped perfectly, in good state. The shown pictures put it much smaller there. The property is fantastic. Two graded terraces permit the lying in the sun anyhow like in the shade. In the garden one feels fine very fast. The direct access to a small beach, as well as another mooring by the sea are a dream. At only five driving minutes one reaches Lower Bogue. There are well sorted small "supermarkets", absolutely enough are for the everyday need. Who would like to have a bigger assortment, drives only few kilometers farther northwards to The bluff. There a bigger supermarket is found. Moreover, on the journey there one finds a liquor store which leads also excellent wines. To recommend very much for a small snack is Ingraham's front yard. Here there is excellent Conch salad and Conch fritters. The care all around the lease was very good and very friendly. All questions to begin with are answered immediately by email. On site justifies itself of the housekeeper and makes sure whether everything is in order without being meddlesome. We have enjoyed our stay very much and recommend this house anyway.

Bahamian Vacation Home Review, Paradise in Eleuthera

Andre. a recent guest at Nella's Nest posted a nice review.   We do appreciate the review and more importantly the business.   

Nella's Nest on Eleuthera is rented for just $1,300 per week.  3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a spacious kitchen and living room.  But that is just the inside.  Outside the patio door is a spacious deck, onto another spacious deck.  Walk down the stone path to another deck area just 15' from the Exuma Sound.  Most of us call it the Caribbean, but the Caribbean doesn't start until the other side of Cuba.

VRBO Review of Nella's Nest in Eleuthera

We are Coming back

Wow, We spent 10 days in Eleuthera and Nella's Nest. We love the peace and quiet of this beautiful ocean front home. I cant believe it, just 40 feet fro, the back door is the most beautiful, stunning sea you will ever witness. There are plenty of activities on Eleuthera and we kept busy by doing nothing. The house is fairly new, 10 years old. Very clean. We will go back to Eleuthera and Nella's Nest

Wow, thats a great review of Nella's Nest on 

Eleuthera.  Eleuthera is on the Bahamian Family

Islands.  Located about 30 miles east of 

Nassau.  Its very easy to get to, (well kind of).

Southern Air, Pine Apple Air or BahamasAir all 

fly daily flights into North Eleuthera Airport.

'We Will Rock You' Rake and Scrape

Every Sunday, Sky Beach has a Summer BBQ, with a local Bahamian Band.  We caught up with the band practicing 'We Will Rock you' by Queen.  After listening to the original version over 20,000 times over the last 30 years, the Rake and Scrape practice jam was refreshing.
 Sky Beach is about 35 minutes south of Nella' Nest.  Call (8450566-7663 to book Nella's Nest in North Eleuthera.

The One and Only Dr. Seabreeze

   A short clip of Bahamian legend Dr. SeaBreeze taken at Sky Beach in Eleuthera.  Sky Beach is about 35 minutes south of Nella's Nest in Governors Harbor.  Dr. Seabreeze has to be pushing 80, but he still puts on a good show.  
  Pascual's, the restaurant at Sky Beach, puts on a Summer BBQ with live Bahamian music every Sunday.  Sky Beach on Sunday is a must for any winter resident or tourist.

Young Bahamian Girl Dancing!!

We caught this young Bahamian Girl dancing at Sky Beach.  One of her favorite Rake Scrape songs was being played by a live band and she broke out in a spontaneous dance.
Sky Beach is about 35 minutes from Nella's Nest, just North of Governors Harbour.  They have a beautiful beach and pool.  The food is pricey, but good.

Rake and Scrape at Daddy Joe's in Eleuthera

Daddy Joe's not only has the live Music, but features Kareoke on Saturday nights.

The food is great, too.  I had Grouper Picante with Pasta that was just delicious. 

Tiffany, the owner, runs a first class food and entertainment establishment.  Check out Daddy Joe's just south of the world famous Glass Window Bridge.
